Claremont, NH—Turning Points Network (TPN) recently announced that Zachary Haines will serve as new president of TPN’s board of directors. Elected during the meeting on June 30, Haines has served as treasurer of the Claremont-based nonprofit since September 2018.
Haines brings a wealth of nonprofit experience and local connections as well as financial and technical acumen to the agency. He is the Vice President, Digital Product Manager at Claremont Savings Bank and is a Claremont native.
“We are thrilled for Zach to be leading the board of directors,” said TPN Executive Director Pascale N. Graham, PhD, MPA. “Zach’s experience at TPN and his commitment to creating safer communities in Sullivan County will help further our long-term mission to provide direct services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and provide prevention education programming throughout the county.”
Outgoing TPN board president, Christina Hill, has been in her role since 2021. Hill was instrumental in the planning process and capital campaign that led to the to the building of TPN’s new facility on Broad Street in 2023. She also spearheaded the three-year strategic plan that TPN implemented in fall 2024.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Zach assume this leadership role,” noted Hill. “His dedication and vision will lead TPN forward during a critical time.”
“I am both humbled and honored to take on this responsibility,” said Haines. “Working with Chris and Pascale these last several years has broadened my understanding of the challenges facing survivors in our communities and the need for the essential, life-saving services TPN provides. I look forward to working with our dedicated board and staff to ensure the mission of this great organization is fulfilled and that the needs of survivors in our communities and for violence prevention education in our schools are met.”
Joining Zach as officers on the TPN board are George Chait, treasurer, and Jen Nelson, secretary. TPN is planning a fall open house when the public will be able to meet the new officers and learn more about the agency’s programs.
